NG Muldersdrif (part of the synod of Dutch Reformed Churches) hosts our annual auction fundraiser. As a congregation we are involved in the community, the raised funds support the various projects that we have committed to and will continue to do so in years to come.

 

As a result of the generosity of companies and individuals, we can annually continue our support to various projects, including:

 

1. Ikusasa Nursery School – In association with Luma (an organization based in the Netherlands) we provide quality pre-schooling and daily meals to 100 children from the Video Town informal settlement in Rietfontein. In the afternoons there is an after-school project catering for primary school learners at the school.

 

2. Abraham Kriel Huis Uys – We support one of the houses at Abaham Kriel Children’s Home that cares for between 8 and 12 boys, aged from 5 to 13 years. We attempt to sufficiently care for their basic needs, with our congregation’s youth playing an important role in this outreach project.

 

3. Luipaardsvlei Old Age Home– There are 10 elderly people in the Luipaardsvlei Old Age Home that we support financially monthly.

 

Over and above the mentioned, NG Muldersdrif supports a few smaller projects and congregation members in need. The success of the auction would enable us at NG Muldersdrif to continue the much-needed support we give to the less fortunate in the community.

Payment & Collection:

An invoice with payment details will be sent to the successful bidder within in the week after the event. Please keep an eye out for this email.

 

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice, items will not be released until payments have successfully cleared in the NG Muldersdrif account. Please ensure timeous payment to allow for this before collecting items.

 

If we are unable to reach the winner of each bid after several attempts, or payment not made within in the allocated time, the second successful bidder after them will be considered the winner of the bid and will be contacted instead.

 

Collection of items after the auction will occur at NG Mulderdsrif from 08 – 12 November 2021

 

Any request to deliver items to areas outside of Krugersdorp can be done at the successful bidder’s own expense.
