African Tails animal rescue NPO will be hosting a silent auction fundraiser, the first of many we hope.

All pieces auctioned are donations from artists. The auction is entirely not-for-profit, with all proceeds going to African Tails NPO (www.africantails.co.za)

A little bit about African Tails...
Established in 2006 in Cape Town, African Tails is a pro-active animal welfare organization and NPO. Having sterilized over 16 000 impoverished dogs & cats, homed over 2000 & treated/fed thousands of hungry tummies. African Tails strives to make a sustainable long-term impact through mass sterilization & pet care education in impoverished communities. The impact of the pet care education transcends pet care, and imparts pivotal skills such as responsibility, empathy & accountability which are wonderful life skills. One unsterilized female dog & her offspring can produce 67 000 puppies over a 6 year period. With this staggering statistic, mass sterilization is the best way to curb the over-population of neglected & abused dogs and cats.
Driven solely by kind donations from the public, African Tails relies on these funds to help as many suffering animals.

Payment and Collection of art

An invoice with payment details will be sent to the successful bidder within the week after the event. Please keep an eye out for this email.

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice, and artworks will not be released until payments have successfully cleared in the fundraising account. Please ensure timeous payment to allow for this before collecting work.

If we are not able to reach the winner of each bid after several attempts, or payment is not made within the allocated time, the second successful bidder after them will be considered the winner of that bid and will be contacted instead.

Successful bidders can collect the works of art between 18 - 21 October 2022 (once payment has reflected). The details will be provided in the respective invoice, to each successful bidder. 

If required, any request to deliver artwork to areas outside of Cape Town can be done at the successful bidder's own expense. We are able to courier from Postnet to Postnet (0-5kg is R99).
