His sculptures are displayed in various locations worldwide, including libraries, wine estates, corporate offices, and local spots like Menlyn Maine Shopping centre. Anton Rupert acquired one of Smit’s works for the Rembrandt Foundation, and Desmond Tutu and Pik Botha have purchased his sculptures.
