Description:
The piece features a young woman held up by fine white strings amongst an audience of marionettes. This signifies how many of us have felt like our own lives have been out of our own control since the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. The main character wears a red body suit as she has been stripped bear of her outer self but still holds onto the passion that remains within. Though she feels manipulated and the strings are being pulled by someone else her face conveys a look of defeat but she still stands with what little solidarity she has before fading into the crowd of marionettes that surround her. This is an emotion invoking art-piece of acrylic on a standard A2 sized piece of paper.
