Description:
This work is a self-portrait in done in oil painting. In the midst of tragedy and brokenness one always has the potential to remain broken and fade into nothingness. However the aim of this portrait was to rediscover beauty smiling through pain and heartache. To shine from within regardless of the shattered heart and dark unknown future that lies ahead. But to shine gracefully, amidst all the pain. Move forward with a smile on one's face and to embrace starry nights, naked unashamed and so blissfully content with whatever happens in the present.
