Description:
Gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper. 320mmx320mm (physical painting) + 30mm border on all four sides. This painting is the second one of three in its collection. It is a piece of hope, trying to find and recognise the good in the bad. Like many life situations, covid-19 left us with a lot of pain, but with this pain came a sense of community and deep empathy for one another. It reminded us to make time for the ones we love and stand together as a community despite our differences. This "virus" of kindness and hope grew stronger in the last two years and will outlive covid-19 as long as we keep reminding ourselves that it is part of our humanity to care and be kind.
