Description:
Wheels of Change is a sculpture made out of Morula tree, it depicts a lady riding a bicycle. I chose the wooden medium to stress the fact that as human beings we perish, and that, makes us to always want to survive. The bicycle wheels are not made to be smooth, as a suggestion to say the new normal has been a difficult path so far. This path has brought forward lockdowns and many restrictions which are not easy to accept and live by. The pandemic is a global crises and with this artwork i am suggesting that working together we can overcome.
