Title: E-FOFA-KA-MOSWANG (WE NEED FOOD TO SURVIVE)

Description:

This sculpture is made from Jacaranda tree, depicting a man and a woman having a meal. Covid-19 pandemic was introduced with multiple lockdowns globally. It made an ordinary man and woman to start asking questions of food security for their households. This artwork shows a strong and united family which can sustain itself. The figures appear to be on a sitting pose even though the chairs are not visible. The left hand of the man is joined by the right hand of the lady to show strength and unity. The man appear to be eating and the lady is calling for more food for her family, making sure that they eat enough food. Their stomach are emphasized to make the viewer aware of the artwork message.
