This piece is a 2D cohesion with a few 3D materials crafted to depict the various facets of a life with COVID and what is now considered as the 'new normal' This artwork is carefully hand sketched on 100% recyclable paper with the use of bright water colour paint and non-toxic pastels, markers and biodegradable materials that are fully organic and environmentally friendly. The bright colours used were carefully chosen to contrast the 'Dark Times' that many have faced and still are facing around the world. The materials and mediums used were carefully curated around my own struggle with the virus. It ultimately illustrates- through proper precautions such as santizing, wearing a mask and getting vaccinated each person in society will assist in healing the world and protecting the future generations who have the chance at a happier, healthier and brighter future. WE ALL NEED TO DO OUR PART!
