a Vintage Italian Marquetry Musical Side Table (often referred to as a Sorrento music box table).

Style: It is a mid-20th-century (likely 1950s–1970s) Italian table featuring marquetry—the art of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns. The top shows a classic floral bouquet surrounded by a scrolling border.
Function: It serves as both a side table and a jewelry/keepsake box. The lid lifts to reveal a storage compartment and a mechanical music box movement (often made by companies like Reuge or Sankyo) that triggers when the lid is opened.
Origin: These were popular souvenirs and export items from the Sorrento region of Italy, famous for its woodworking traditions.

Condition: Music Box seems in a good working order and the Table in a very Good Condition
