About the Artist: 

I was born in Witbank in 1966, went to the local English primary school, then attended the Art, Ballet and Music school where matriculated in 1984. I studied a year of Fine Art at Rhodes university before heading to Durban to attend the Durban Technion. I completed my degree in Fine Art as well as an honours in 1989. 

I have been self employed as a private drawing and painting teacher from 1989 to date. In 1997 I relocated to Pretoria where I again started a private teaching studio. In 2015 I completed an M.Tech in Fine art at TUT. I was offered a teaching post in the Fine Art department at TUT in 2016. I am currently teaching Figure Drawing I and Painting II at this institution. 

I have exhibited consistently from 1990 to date in group and solo shows.
