About the artist:
I started painting lessons after I retired in 2007. I attended classes with various teachers. I enjoy painting in oils and acrylics and like doing land and seascapes. I belong to several art societies and served on the Council of The South African Society of Artist for many years organizing their winter workshops. Since 2009, when the Blaauwberg Art Society was founded, I have served as the Treasurer and for the past few years, as the Secretary as well.
I am a grandmother of 3 beautiful children, two of which live in Sante Fe, New Mexico, USA with my son and his wife. I am fortunate to have a daughter and the other grandchild living in Milnerton, Cape Town. I am 75 years old.
