Cockspur Fine Rum originated in 1884 when Danish Ship Merchant Valdemar Hanschell produced the first rum. This rum is not readily available in parts of the world as it is produced in small to medium batches. It is therefore a famous collector’s item for any bar. This wonderful amber rum is the perfect marriage of smooth and sweet and can match a favorite whiskey. Cockspur Fine Rum is a gently aged rum that starts off with a distinct brown sugar taste then develops into a smooth, round, buttery blend that leaves a warm, spicy oak taste on the palate. Cockspur has been the official sponsor for the West Indies and England Cricket Teams.
