The Grové Schoombee Foundation NPC is committed to uplifting vulnerable children and families through compassionate, community‑centred initiatives. All proceeds raised through this auction directly support two of the Foundation’s core programmes: Daybreak Baby House and the Hamba Nawe Paediatric Palliative Care Unit. The Foundation is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and is authorised to issue Section 18A tax‑deductible certificates in accordance with SARS regulations, where applicable.

Daybreak Baby House

Daybreak House is a safe haven for vulnerable babies — helping them toward a brighter tomorrow. We provide care and love for abandoned, neglected, and vulnerable babies who are in need of a permanent, loving family. Daybreak House is not an institution but a warm, nurturing home. Our team works closely with registered welfare workers. Every child deserves love, safety, belonging, and hope — and Daybreak House exists to make that possible.

Hamba Nawe Paediatric Palliative Care Unit

The Hamba Nawe Project is a Pretoria‑based paediatric palliative care initiative of the Grové Schoombee Foundation, providing holistic, compassionate support to children living with life‑limiting and life‑threatening illnesses — and the families who walk this difficult journey alongside them. “Hamba Nawe” means “We walk with you.” This simple phrase captures the heart of the project: ensuring that no child or family faces serious illness, suffering, or loss alone.
