Hier is ‘n unieke geleentheid om gedurende die naweek van 15-17 September 2023 ten tyde van die Wilgenhof 120-jaar reunie in die Plek te bly - ja dit is reg, in ‘n Wilgenhof hool.

 

Dit beteken lekker saamsing in die showers en alles wat daarmee saamgaan

 

Die relevente detail is:

• Die hole word geallokeer op ‘n veiling basis
• Alle opbrengste gaan om eerstens die reünie se begroting te laat klop, en tweedens na die Wilgenhof Trust ten bate van beurse vir verdienstelike huidige Wilgenhoffers van alle agtergronde
• Die hole word voorsien van die volgende:
  • Skoon, wit beddegoed (paslaken, duvet, kussing, handdoek)
  • Gebottelde water, hoofpynpille en ‘n moemfie
  • ‘n Deurslot – ons weet almal hoe dit soms op reünies gaan
• Jy kan jou holie kies – hierdie keer!
  • Vind ‘n holie en bie saam op ‘n hool
  • Die bod is vir twee nagte vir 2 persone. As jy R1,500 bie, is dit effektief R375 per person per nag
  •  Jy het ook uiteraard die keuse vir ‘n enkel hool
• Kostes / donasie
  • Die direkte koste wat die koshuis moet betaal aan ‘n eksterne diensverskaffer vir bogenoemde dienste is R1,500 per hool vir die naweek
  • Die reserwe prys is dus R1,500 per hool
  • Enige bod bedrag bo R1,500 is dus ‘n donasie, en jy sal ‘n artikel 18A belasting sertifikaat vir die verskil ontvang
• Die veiling begin om 08h00 Dinsdag 20 Junie
• Die veiling sluit om 20h00 Dinsdag 27 Junie
• Die laaste (en dus hoogste) bod per hool sal die wen bod wees vir daardie hool
• Jy sal ‘n faktuur van ons ontvang wat betaalbaar is binne 3 dae per EFT; daarna word die hool aan die volgende hoogste bod aangebied

Die reünie is nie ’n amptelike geleentheid van die Universiteit Stellenbosch (US) nie, dus vrywaar die US en Wilgenhof hulself teen aksies of skade wat mag voortspruit uit die geleentheid. Reünie-bywoners neem deel op eie risiko. Algemene huisreëls geld gedurende die reünie-naweek.

Here is a unique opportunity to stay in the Place during the weekend of 15-17 September 2023 at the time of the Wilgenhof 120-year reunion - yes, that's right, in a Wilgenhof hool.

 

This means singing along in the showers and everything that goes with it.

 

The relevant details are:

• The hole are allocated on an auction basis
• All proceeds go to firstly to balance the reunion budget, and secondly to the Wilgenhof Trust in aid of scholarships for deserving current Wilgenhoffers of all backgrounds
• The hole are provided with the following:
  • Clean, white bed linen (matching sheet, duvet, pillow, towel)
  • Bottled water, headache pills and a mummy
  • A door lock - we all know how it sometimes goes at reunions
• You can choose your holie - this time!
  • Find a holie and bid together on a hool
  • The bid is for two nights for 2 people. If you bid R1,500, that is effectively R375 per person per night
  • You also obviously have the choice for a single hool – just bid by yourself
• Costs / donation
  • The direct cost that the residence has to pay to an external service provider for the above services is R1,500 per hool for the weekend
  • The reserve price is therefore R1,500 per hool
  • Any bid amount above R1,500 is therefore a donation, and you will receive a section 18A tax certificate for the difference
• The auction starts at 08h00 Tuesday 20 June
• The auction closes at 20h00 Tuesday 27 June
• The last (and therefore highest) bid per hool will be the winning bid for that hool
• You will receive an invoice from us which is payable within 3 days by EFT; after that the hool is offered to the next highest bidder

The reunion is not an official event of Stellenbosch University (SU), so SU and Wilgenhof indemnify themselves against actions or damage that may arise from the event. Reunion attendees participate at their own risk. General house rules apply during the reunion weekend.
