Established in 2022, The Grové Schoombee Foundation NPC is a dedicated non-profit organization, making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children in South Africa. The Grove Schoombee Foundation is dedicated to advocating for social change and bringing together people to work towards protecting children, who are the future of the country.

 

The foundation's work is inspired by the legacy of Grové Schoombee, who taught the importance of living each day with gratitude and serving others, even in the face of adversity

 

Beneficiaries of The Grové Schoombee Foundation NPC:

• Race: The foundation supports children of all races, reflecting the diverse population of South Africa.
• Gender: Both boys and girls receive equal care and support through our programs.
• Age Groups: Babies from birth to two years of age are cared for at Daybreak House, a haven for abandoned, neglected, and vulnerable babies. Children from various age groups who have been rescued from abusive and neglected environments receive educational support and holistic development resources.
• Children diagnosed with life threatening illnesses, irrespective of their age, are supported through the foundation's initiatives.

Initiatives:

• Safe Haven, Daybreak House: Offers a loving and nurturing environment for abandoned, neglected, and vulnerable babies from birth to two years of age.
• Educational Support: Provides access to specialized schooling and tutoring services to children removed from abusive or neglected environments.
• Holistic Development: Offers resources for extracurricular activities and psychological support.
• Hamba Nawe Palliative Paediatric Unit: Committed to establishing a pioneering paediatric palliative care unit within a government hospital.
